Loving God, Loving Others, Making Disciples

Preparing for Easter – part 2

But Jesus looked at them and said, “What then is this that is written: ‘The stone which the builders rejected, This became the chief corner stone’? Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will scatter him like dust.” Luke 20:17-18

Yesterday we read and saw how Jesus cleaned the Temple from what was not holy. Today, let’s read and study Jesus as He is teaching at the Temple. Look at the Scripture in Luke 20:1-40. As you read this passage, are there some things that seem harsh or difficult to understand? Spend some time digesting what Jesus is saying. Have there been times when you have grumbled or backed away? Were there times when you questioned what Jesus was saying or doing in your life?

Sometimes Jesus’ truth may seem hard and difficult to follow. I pray that you will seek Him diligently, knowing that He loves and cares for you.
