Joining a church can be intimidating. Being a member of Three Point Bible Church is first about being a Christian and second, about being part of a specific family of people who are growing and building up into Jesus together. As we grow upward we grow outward, thus we see members first as ministers to their families, friends and church and then as missionaries to our community.
Scripture makes it clear that God’s plan for His church centers in the local church community. Actually, the Bible seems to take for granted that we are part of a church community. Many scriptures refer to the local church community (Timothy 5:3-16, Romans 16:1-16, Acts 6:1-6, 1 Corinthians 5:1-12).
WHAT IS CHURCH MEMBERSHIP AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT? We believe that God has called all of us into His Kingdom and into the fellowship of a local church. You have unique passions and strengths that would help the church be Kingdom Builders in this community and around the world. Our Membership Track is composed of three opportunities, listed below, which are designed to help you engage in the mission of Three Point Bible Church, to equip yourself for spiritual growth through your unique gifts and talents, and to connect you to a volunteer team and small group.
Connect: Connect is a brief informal introduction to learn more about the heart and vision of Three Point Bible Church, meet some of the people, and learn how to get connected in our church. We’ll take a tour of the church and answer any questions you may have – all in about 20 minutes.
Grow: Grow provides a great foundation for your faith by focusing on what the Bible says about prayer, Bible study, and about being a part of a church. The class will last for 6 weeks, and is taught on Sunday mornings at 10:00a at various times throughout the year.
Partner: Three Point Bible Church partners with people that have a desire to advance the vision God has given our church, to Love God, Love Others and to Make Disciples. You have experienced an in-depth look into our vision as a church, and the values that drive our vision. You also heard about some of our areas of ministry and service. Are you ready to commit to doing life together with other Christ followers as a member of Three Point Bible Church?
