Loving God, Loving Others, Making Disciples

One Way

Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6

We live today in what I would call a very spirituality pluralistic society. In other words, tolerance is a really high value and it’s very common today for many people to believe things like: All roads really lead to God; It doesn’t really matter what you believe as long as you’re sincere; All world religions are essentially the same anyway; Love wins.

We end up watering down our faith to a “feel good” theology. If we are good and just love everyone, if we just do good things and try really hard to be a good example, then God will love us and bless us. Society tells us to just accept everyone and their beliefs, that we should be inclusive with all beliefs. Jesus, however, blows this type of believing out of the water. He says that He is the only way and that no one comes to the Father except through Him.

Have you given yourself to Jesus? Is He your Lord and Master? If so, are you living as a resurrection believer?
