If you have always wanted to learn “how” to pray, and need answers to your prayers, I strongly suggest you try the Tuesday night prayer group led by Chuck Fulghum. It meets at 7:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary and ends when we are finished praying. This is a mixed group of men and women who have encountered some of the most difficult problems in life and have had victory in these areas or are working toward having victory. It’s a group where you can just “be yourself” and will find compassion, concern, and wisdom. After we have discussed the people we need to pray for, and the problems we are currently facing, each member prays as he or she is led. No one has to pray out loud. We each pray as the Holy Spirit leads.
