How do you typically handle unexpected events in your life? How has worry influenced your thoughts and actions? Why do we so often allow ourselves to be consumed by worry?
Worry is a matter of perspective. If anyone had a reason to worry—it was Paul as he wrote Philippians. Paul’s perspective of God: Nothing separates you from the love of God. Facing possible execution, shipwrecks, snakebites, flogging, almost dying, imprisonment, Paul shows us in Philippians 4 that we don’t have to worry because God is in charge and He is the only one that can satisfy us.
What steps do you need to take towards becoming fully satisfied in God? What are some of the ways God is working in your life right now? What specific worries do you need to give over to the Lord today?
I would love to hear your thoughts,
