6 Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”

Have you ever felt rejected? Maybe by someone you trusted or a family member? It can leave us feeling worthless. In the scriptures, Joseph felt this, however he chose a better response. He was a slave, he worked over a household, he was jailed, and yet he rose to be the 2nd in charge of Egypt. Genesis 39:1-2 tells us that the LORD was with Joseph. For us, it would be good to remember that the LORD is with us regardless of what happened to us in our past.
