Hebrews 10:24-25a
In Luke 4:16, it says that Jesus – as was His custom, (or as usual) entered the synagogue on the Sabbath. And I believe that it should be our custom to be in church as well. In fact, I believe that the local church is the best place to find fellowship with other believers – it should be a priority, a non-negotiable. We don’t attend church to be counted. We come because we are family and we need each other.
The writer of Hebrews put it this way: “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:24-25. He saw the church as a place for us to help one another grow in the LORD.
So, let’s make it a priority to meet, greet, and encourage one another in the House of the LORD. See you Sunday.
