How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” Romans 10:14-15
Think about the last time you shared some really good news with someone. Maybe it was promotion you received. Maybe a great deal you got while shopping. Maybe it was about the new Chick-fil-a sandwich (that was unsolicited by the way.) Sharing good news means evangelism.
When we hear the word “evangelism” often this evokes a sense of dread. Does that mean I have to become a preacher? I’m not really good at speaking. What if they ask me something I don’t know?
Did you know that on the first day of the church, Jesus called His followers to evangelize – to share the good news of Jesus. Are you living into the calling that Jesus has laid before us?
We are all called to be ambassadors for Jesus and that means sharing the good news of a Savior that loves us and wants to give us an abundant life
