Loving God, Loving Others, Making Disciples

Back To Church Sunday

When I was younger (many moons ago), there were only a few special days on the calendar. Days like Christmas, Easter, 4th of July, etc… But now it seems that every day is a “special” day. Did you know that the 1st Friday in June is National Donut Day? Or that April 2nd is National Fun at Work Day? You can Google search and find a lot of weird days to celebrate.

This Sunday, September 21st, is Back to Church Sunday. However, Back to Church Sunday isn’t just a date on the calendar—it’s a nationwide invitation to belong. This Sunday, our church joins thousands of others in opening wide the doors and saying to everyone, “You have a place here.”

This week, let’s remember our mission and vision at Three Point: Love God, Love Others, Make Disciples, and see people transformed by God’s amazing love and grace.

Begin by praying for people in your circles by name. Offer a personal invitation—text, call, or speak to them in person. When we invest and invite others to join us, we are planting the seed for God to work in their lives. That is what “Back to Church Sunday” is all about.
