Have you ever seen God bring good out of a hard situation? Yesterday, we saw how Paul’s imprisonment actually advanced the Gospel. In Philippians 1:27-30, Paul calls all believers to stand firm together. In persecution, in need, in dark times, we need each other for help and support. This is a great time for the church to rise up and spread the light of Jesus.
This week in our 40 Days of Community, we are looking at Serving Together. Galatians 6:2 says, “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” Being available and thinking more about others than we think about ourselves puts us closer to the heart of Jesus, and doing this together strengthens the ministry.
