We are on a 5-week journey toward Easter and the resurrection. This week, we looked at turning toward the cross. Following the example set by Jesus, we also must intentionally look at the cross and all that it means for us as believers. Each day, we’ll look at some simple devotions that help us prepare our hearts to see Jesus as He truly is, not just our Mighty God but also a humble servant, devoted to reconciling us to God, the Father. Like Jesus, we must first surrender before we can experience the real joy of the resurrection.
