What would happen if we truly became a people of prayer? What would happen if, instead of simply asking God to bless what we are doing, we began asking Him to show us what He wants to do? What if the greatest thing God wants to do in this coming season is not simply around us, but within us?
When the disciples watched Jesus pray, they recognized something different about His relationship with the Father. They didn’t ask Him to teach them how to preach, perform miracles, or draw a crowd. They said, “Lord, teach us to pray.”
As we approach Thanksgiving and prepare our hearts for the Advent season, God is calling us to something deeper. Not simply another busy season on the church calendar, but a season of spiritual renewal, surrender, and expectation.
For the next four weeks, we will journey together through our series “Fasting and Praying.” We will explore how to become people of prayer as we fast, pray, and grow together.
