There can be little doubt that the time we live in is one where much of society is against any beliefs, ideas, and values that followers of Jesus have held since the beginning.
Jesus said to his followers, “You are the light of the world…let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” When Jesus came to establish God’s kingdom, it was a kingdom in contrast to the world around it. Those who believe in Christ are not only a part of that kingdom but are to live lives in such a way that reflect its joy and goodness.
