For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. Philippians 1:21
Sometimes in life we experience things and we don’t understand why? This often can steal our joy. However, joy isn’t about not having problems. Joy is about how we respond and handle those problems. We need to remember that God is always working in all of our situations.
For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake, Philippians 1:29
By changing our perspective, we can focus on things that matter – people. Even in prison, Paul used this time to share the gospel with the guards he was chained to. In this life we will face trials and hard times, but we have a real peace and joy that is found in Christ our savior.
