Loving God, Loving Others, Making Disciples

Haggai

5 Now, therefore, thus says the Lord of hosts: Consider your ways. 6 You have sown much, and harvested little. You eat, but you never have enough; you drink, but you never have your fill. You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm. And he who earns wages does so to put them into a bag with holes. Haggai 1:5-6

The prophet Haggai is stirring up the Israelites to finish God’s work first and then tend to their business. By listening to and obeying God, Haggai reminds them that the LORD is with them. When they are in unity with one another, then great works can be done for the glory of God.
