34 For he whom God has sent utters the words of God, for he gives the Spirit without measure. 35 The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand. 36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.
John 3:34-36
If there’s one thing highlighted in our society today, it is the ever-deepening distrust of once trusted sources. Everywhere we turn, we are being told that we simply cannot trust sources we once turned to for important information about our finances, our health, our legal system, our elections, our mental health, our political leaders, or pretty much any current event.
So… where do you turn for the information you need to make important decisions? Who or what is your most trusted source?
When it comes to information we need to make important decisions, Jesus Christ should be our most trusted source. His words are above all other words. He is the Way, Truth and Life. His testimony should be the controlling influence, our guiding light.
The entire Christian faith rests on the correct answer to Jesus’ question (Matthew 16:15), “Who do you say that I am?” If you get that question right, everything else is secondary.
