When Jesus had spoken these words, he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son that the Son may glorify you

In our world and culture, we go for the win, strive to get ahead and be recognized – it’s how we measure success. Jesus’ glory was always to bring glory to the Father, it was never about Himself. His glory is not popular. It comes on a cross and His death. Suffering, despised, rejected, beaten – a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief.
