Loving God, Loving Others, Making Disciples

Knowing Jesus

His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.

2 Peter 1:4

We live in a time where the rules of the game often change to suit our ideas instead of what God has said. This was also true of the early church.

In his 2nd letter, Peter assures believers that our faith in Jesus is built upon reliable knowledge of His great power and His return.
