“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:34–35
Love is much more than a “feeling.” It’s costly, it’s often messy, and it requires action. Jesus didn’t just tell us to love—He showed us how. He loved us when we were unlovable. He loved us when we didn’t want Him. He loved us to the point of death on a cross. That’s the love we’ve received… and it’s the love we’re called to give. It means seeing people as Jesus sees them.
