For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being,
Ephesians 3:14-16
A true believer will not walk away when times get tough. Instead, they will lean upon the strength of Jesus through the Holy Spirit. When we are weak, He is strong. We are rooted and grounded in His love and that carries us through those tough times.
Paul is praying for the church in Ephesus, but the truths still remains, God is our strength and nothing we have done, can do, or will do can separate us from the love of Christ for those that are one of His own.
