God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling.
Psalm 46:1-3
Where do you find hope? For some that are lonely, they may seek hope in other people. For those that are struggling financially, money and jobs seem to be the thing. The problem with this line of thought is that we are all broken and will find that each of these will let us down at some point. When hope begins to fade, desperation sets in. Sometimes people lose hope altogether because they don’t know where to look for hope.
Psalm 46 reminds us that God is our very present help in our trouble. He is with us, He is there for us, He is our strength.
