Amid a hopeless situation, Jesus gives us a picture that He can “fix” anything. When Jesus does a sign or miracle, it is not about the sign or the miracle but it is about Who He is and what He came to do. Feed 5000 – I am the Bread of Life. Your soul is hungry and only I can satisfy that hunger. Blind from Birth – I am the Light of the World. Your soul is in darkness and only Jesus can enlighten it. Dead man – the end? – I am the Resurrection and the Life. Jesus is our hope and comfort, beginning and end, all-powerful King. What are you going to do with Jesus?
