Every Easter season, we move toward the cross. We think about the nails. We think about the crown of thorns. We think about the empty tomb.
But before the cross… there was a table. And beside that table… there was a towel.
In John 13, Jesus gives us one of the clearest pictures of His heart. And if we’re going to prepare our hearts for Easter, we must understand what happened in that upper room.
The table shows us His love. The towel shows us His humility. And both prepare us to understand the cross.
