Loving God, Loving Others, Making Disciples

The Testimony of John

19 And this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?” 20 He confessed, and did not deny, but confessed, “I am not the Christ.”  John 1:19-20

The first eighteen verses of John’s gospel has described Jesus as the eternal Word. The eternal Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us and we have seen his glory. And from his fullness we have all received grace upon grace. John the apostle now tells us about John the Baptist

In the next passage, John the Baptist gives his testimony about himself and about Jesus. For us today, we need to be able to give a testimony about who Jesus is in our life.
