Every day, we choose what to wear, and spiritually, we choose what to put on: compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience. Gratitude helps us choose these virtues daily by reminding us of how much grace we’ve received.
When we’re thankful for God’s mercy, it’s easier to show mercy. Gratitude softens the heart and reminds us that every person we meet is also deeply loved by God.
