In this life, the wine will run out. The world’s joys always fade. Satan tries to convince us that the world’s pleasures will satisfy, and they will for a season. But then the pleasure melt away.
The wine of illicit pleasure, drugs, wealth, health, success, friendship, etc…, eventually all the wine will run out, leaving you empty and joyless. It may happen in the teenage years, the college years, mid-life, or at the end of life. Ultimately, everyone runs out of wine apart from Christ.
