Loving God, Loving Others, Making Disciples

What’s Missing

28-30 “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” Matthew 11:28-30

We don’t get in shape to go to the gym, we go to the gym to get in shape. We go to Jesus to change our lives, we don’t change our lives so that we might find Jesus one day. Jesus is that missing piece that fills the hole we have desperately been trying to fill with “stuff.”

Jesus is what’s missing. He wants to be with you, to hang out with you. He wants you to go all in with Him. He wants to have a relationship with you.
