Here’s the truth: Following Jesus is available to everyone, but not automatic for anyone. At some point, following Him will cost you comfort, control, relationships, habits, pride… It requires a decision. A decision to deny yourself and to follow Him.
Jesus is not taking life from us; He is leading us into real life. Many of us are still holding on to things that really don’t matter while Jesus is offering us even greater things.
