Romans 12:2 says, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” God wants us to be nonconformists. Not to be like the culture around us but to be different, to be revolutionary.
In our world today, it often seems like everything has been turned upside-down. Our culture is in a place where anything goes – and it usually does. But God has called us to LIVE IN the world but to not be OF the world.
We’ll face struggles and opposition. We’ll be challenged and persecuted. We’ll either be conformed or we’ll be transformed.
