12 Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, 13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. Philippians 2:12–13
Many people treat salvation like a transaction. “I prayed the prayer.” “I checked the box.” “I’m good.” But the New Testament consistently presents salvation not as a moment you check off, but a life you step into.
The danger is not that people aren’t saved. The danger is that people are saved but stuck. God didn’t just save us from something—He saved us for transformation into Christlikeness.
