We live in a time and culture where self-love has taken on a negative meaning. It’s about what makes you happy and fulfilled. When Jesus said to love others as ourselves, He clarified that we are to love ourselves as He loved us and that this love would spill over to include others.
Our faith doesn’t allow us to be passive participants. God has saved us and reconciled us and commands us to go and make disciples.
